Attention Young Junkies. Don’t you remember who you once was ? Close your eyes and look into your soul. Do you see that young child that you were not to long ago. Sitting in 6th Grade Homeroom. Bright eyes and wishing upon the stars. Dreaming big of who you were going to be when you grow up.
Never thought you will grow up to be a full fledge junkie. Your life wasting away before your eyes. Its hard to look in the mirror with sunken checks and scabs all over you face. Yet the drugs calls out to you never telling you your final fate. To die young or sit in a cell doing many years of time.
The fight can be over today - just surrender to win.
Reach your hand out for help in the rooms of NA and AA. Their will be someone to love you till you can love yourself. Hope will be back in your life. The key for the soul. Unlock those dreams which seems so far away.
Today your fate is in your hands. Just remember some junkies do not hit bottom till they are dead. If I did it so can you.
I came in the rooms at 21 and I have been clean and sober since 1-14 - 84. 28 years at a day at a time and still crazy and having fun after all these years .
